Laura Humphreys is a somatic and integrative healing practitioner whose work centers on embodiment, nervous system regulation, and reconnecting with the body’s innate wisdom. Her offerings blend gentle movement, breathwork, mindfulness meditation, sound, and subtle energy practices to support rest, balance, and inner peace.

Laura’s approach to healing is grounded, trauma-aware, and intuitive. With training in intuitive energy work, breathwork facilitation, and hands-on bodywork, she creates supportive spaces where individuals can slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with themselves without pressure or expectation. Her work emphasizes presence over performance and honors each person’s unique pace and capacity.

Laura grew up in the rural Midwest, surrounded by farming landscapes that shaped her early connection to land, rhythm, and seasonal cycles. In the summer of 2009, AmeriCorps brought her to Sitka, Alaska—a place she quickly fell in love with for its beauty, depth of community, and powerful natural environment.

Outside of her professional offerings, Laura spends as much time as possible outdoors—both with her family and alone—drawing inspiration, clarity, and restoration from the profound beauty and healing atmosphere of Southeast Alaska. She enjoys spending summers salmon tendering with her husband their two children. Laura and her family also homeschool, weaving learning, nature, and daily life into an integrated rhythm that mirrors the values she brings into her healing work.
