Gentle yoga focuses on making yoga accessible especially for those living with low back issues.  The class integrates Viniyoga sequences that have been studied by the National Institutes of Health and improve back health and functioning.  It’s appropriate for those living with mild to moderate back pain.  Additionally, it focuses on asanas (poses) that support core strength, balance and deep restoration.  The class also introduces students to Pranayama (breath work) and Dhyana (meditation) practice.
